Starting: The Secret Life of Bees

:D I am starting The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. I decided to read it because I heard it was a good book from almost everyone in this world. Except for Zhao that is. I'm the one that told her that I heard it was a good book.-_-;; oops. Sorry Zhao~ This book is 302 pages so it's gonna take me about three weeks to finish it. Sue Monk Kidd was born in Sylvester, Georgia on August 12, 1948. It took Sue Monk Kidd 3 1/2 years to write it. Can you believe she was a nurse?! It's about prejudice, I think. Also, bees... Probably. I think it will be a good read because it is a well known book and also everyone tells me that it is a good read. Good bye~

Finished with Tuesdays With Morrie!~

I finished Tuesdays With Morrie a long time ago actually, and I am starting a new book. I couldn't do my blogs because, well you know why. Anyways, I am OFFICIALLY DONE with the book! (OMG:D) I finished in class actually, and if you people didn't notice, I was very very teary. It was so sad though! I had to read the part when Morrie died... It was so sad!!!!!!!! Mitch and Morrie were so close, and then Mitch had to let Morrie go. He saw Morrie get sicker and weaker and he eventually saw him die. Morrie fell into a coma and he died two days after. Everyone was so sad. This book is real. It happened to Mitch Albom for REAL. He's so lucky though, because he had the chance to meet such a wonderful person like Morrie. He was his "coach", and he taught him life's greatest lessons. Makes me wonder, if I will ever meet a teacher like that... It's so sweet and I wish I met Morrie too. Wow, I'm getting teary again...
This is my most favorite book ever!!!!!! (Along with Howl's Moving Castle, and Castle in the Air) Now, I want to read The Five People You Meet In Heaven, by Mitch Albom. I heard it was a good book. Simple and sweet.

STUPID INTERNET!

ARGH! STUPID INTERNET AND CABLE MODEM!!
Sorry that I couldn't post weekly... My internet has been broken for a while and now all my posts are very random and out of order. I swear it'll be back to normal. Sorry Sorry Sorry!~

Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom

On Pg. 200!!! This is such a good book!~ It is very inspirational and I can't wait to read more!~ This book is very good. So far, Morrie and Mitch are just talking together about random things in life because Mitch wants to know and learn from Morrie because Morrie said that he knew a lot about the world since he is about to die. I find it very inspirational that Morrie is not scared to die. He looks at his disease very positively because he is dying very slowly, so he has a lot of time to say goodbye to the ones he love. I think that is really sweet. If I had ALS, I would be crying my eyes out until I have no more strength to cry anymore and just die. I learned that death is the final stage of life that everyone must go through and it is nothing to be scared of. To every beginning, there is an end.

Starting Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom

I've decided that I will read Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. I've decided to read this book because I always had this book in my bookshelf and it was aging and collecting dust so I felt bad for it. Also, this book was on the list and I figured, why not? I think that this book will be a really good read because so many people said that they enjoyed it and many people were moved by this book. I love inspirational, heart-warming, and sad books, and this is one of those books. Mitch Albom is also the author of The Five People You Meet in Heaven, (a book that Elizabeth keeps telling me to read^^) If I read 100 pages each week, it will take me three weeks to complete this book. I can't wait to finish this book! :)

Starting Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones

The book that I choose to read is Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones. I choose to read this book because I read the previous book Howl’s Moving Castle, also by Diana Wynne Jones, and it became my favorite book! I am very curious about what will happen next and I am pretty sure that this sequel will be just as fun to read as the first book. I think that this book will be a good read because the first book was absolutely flawless and since Castle in the Air is the sequel, it should be splendid. (I wrote about Diana Wynne Jones in the first post, but I think I have to do it again.) Diana Wynne Jones is a very well known author who lives in London. She is one of London’s top fantasy science fiction writers. She wrote over 40 children’s and adult’s books. If I read 100 pages of this book every week, it will take me 3 weeks to finish it. Well, I hope that this will be a enjoyable book to read!!

NOTE: SORRY, BUT I COULDN'T POST THIS THING BEFORE SO I HAD TO POST IT ALL TODAY... YES I KNOW EVERYTHING IS OUT OF ORDER! I CAN'T HELP IT IF MY CABLE MODEM BROKE DOWN AND MESSED EVERYTHING UP! :( OH WELL... PLEASE EXCUSE MY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AND MY OUT-OF-ORDER BLOG POSTS!!

Abdullah character profile!

This is a character profile for Abdullah, the protagonist in Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones. Abdullah is a young man from the city of Zanzib. His hobby is daydreaming about having the perfect life. Usually, he daydreams about being in the most spectacular and breathtaking garden and also there would be a beautiful young maiden. Abdullah speaks really politely. REALLY politely. So politely that you would think that he was flirting with you, but he is not. That is Abdullah's nature. Also, that is really the custom in Zanzib. Abdullah is a carpet merchant in Zanzib, and he sells carpets in the marketplace in a stall. Next to his stall, is his friend's stall and he sells smelly fish/squids and he has a just as smelly dog too. Abdullah sells carpets because his father sold carpets too. His father passed away, so Abdullah had to take over. Abdullah's father married this woman, (not Abdullah's mother), and her and her family are very annoying people. They are also very nosy and it drives Abdullah nuts. Abdullah buys a magic carpet one day and the carpet takes him to the garden of his dreams and there he falls in love with the princess by the name of Flower-in-the-night. Abdullah is very poor, and he is not really worthy to marry the beautiful Flower-in-the-night. They decide to run away to get married. When they are about to, Flower-in-the-night gets kidnapped, and Abdullah was very determined to get his princess back. He was very brave to go up against the Djinn like that. He was also very clever because he and Flower-in-the-night found out where the Good Djinn's life was. Abdullah later becomes the husband of Flower-in-the-night and they live happily ever after.
